God is calling Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church Campuses to become “the place” where His vision of Leading, Learning, Living and Loving Without Limits is fully realized in the lives of our members and our community by:

  • Increasing evangelistic opportunities by taking the Kingdom message to the lost and forgotten in non-traditional ways to win souls for Christ.
  • Leading initiatives with governmental, civic and religious leaders in efforts to mediate racial tensions, reduce poverty through job creation and reduce crime.
  • Partnering with the business community to provide training in business management, entrepreneurial and vocational skills as a beginning point in developing the workforce and in the creation of jobs.
  • Partnering with schools to assist students interested in college in ACT and SAT preparation.

  • Strengthening our faith and deepening our relationships with each other and God in life group fellowship and training around our campuses and the city.
  • Serving as a GED (General Equivalent Diploma) preparation site for those who did not complete high school so they can begin to create for themselves a better future.
  • Making room for the next generation through a “Next Generation Learning Lab” that provides learning opportunities and programs that build leadership and decision making skills and serves as a platform for success in the future.
  • Teaching financial literacy and assisting our members and the community to get out of debt, build wealth for now and for their future generations and be an active voice against unscrupulous practices of “payday and title loan sharks” that rob people of their life and dignity.
  • Turning the Poplar Avenue synagogue building into a top-notch performing arts venue (“Dream Center) for youth and people of all cultures and backgrounds.

  • Remodeling our nursery in Midtown and enhancing our children programming at Southwind to create a learning environment that is fun, colorful, creative, healthy and safe.
  • Providing information to the community on available resources to assist them in areas that will make their lives better (Community Resource Center).

  • Increasing the number of meals to the elderly and other struggling families that seek our assistance through our Manna Outreach Ministry.
  • Building in partnership with the Disciples of Christ and Housing Urban Development another senior assisted housing facility on our Midtown campus.
  • Working with the Veterans Administration office to provide transitional support services to veterans returning home and to their families.
  • Providing temporary housing and rehabilitation opportunities for the homeless.
