I visited your church this past Sunday and have never felt so welcomed in a church in my life. If I lived in Memphis I would join! Then on Monday I called your pastor on call for prayer (your youth minister). He was such a wonderful listener. He was like a laser pinpointing my issues (confidence and anxiety).
You see I came to visit the nursing school to talk with them about getting my doctorate. It has been along journey and I was scared to death and lacking confidence because I have been at home with our children and out of the work force for along time. During and after the prayer I felt the Lord and my burdens were lifted. I felt at ease when I visited the school and left inspired and encouraged. Thank you again for lifting me up. I have been a member of MBCC for many years, but
I haven't been attending service like I should for many months. But, something
told me to get up and get to church yesterday [2-Aug-2009]. All I can say is WOW! Pastor
Janae Pitts delivered such a powerful message and it was exactly what I need in
my life right now. I just want to give a tremendous thanks to Pastor Janae and
let her know her message was so uplifting. I can't speak on behalf of anyone
else in church yesterday. But, I hope she knows that she made a huge impact on
me and I am so thankful to her for the message and the Lord for sending the
message to me through her. Pastor Janae is a very gifted woman and I'm sure
that she will continue to bless many people.
