What Happens Once I Arrive?
Whether it’s at our 9am Service at our Southward Campus or at our 11am Midtown Campus, we cannot wait wait to welcome you and your family! From our Parking Attendants who will help you locate a parking space, to our Greeter’s Ministry, who welcomes everyone with a smile, to the faithful hands of one of our amazing Ushers in our sanctuary, God’s Love sets the atmosphere for a powerful worship experience at THE BLVD, and we cannot thank you enough for Celebrating Christ with us!
Where do I go?
We are always excited to welcome guests into our BLVD family. Whether you’re joining us for worship at our Southwind or Midtown campuses, or if you’re joining us via our online experience, we are happy you’ve decided to stop by! No matter how you got here, we will be there every step of the way to welcome you into The BLVD Family.

Where do my kids go?
At the BLVD we love children! And we believe that your child’s spiritual maturity is just as important as your own spiritual growth.
Our NEXUS ministries offer age appropriate, exciting, and creative programming available for children and youth at each of our campuses every week: Tune in at 2:30PM Tuesdays on Youtube for “Story Time with Ms. Ty”! Settle in for a wonderful time of storytelling each week led by members of our Children’s Ministry team. The 2nd Sunday of each month is Family Sunday at The BLVD, when we strongly encourage families to worship together, as our children and youth lead us!

Discipletown Jr. (2mo-4yo)
Our Nursery is equipped with loving staff and safe facilities to care for your little one as you are fed in worship. For more information please contact Discipletownjr@theblvd.org
Discipletown (K-5th)
Discipletown offers elementary school aged children innovative resources to help children grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and one another. We believe in making disciples! For more information please contact Discipletown@theblvd.org
Nexus Youth (6th-12th)
Our Nexus ministry guides middle school and high school youth toward spiritual maturity. We make young disciples through mentorship, empowerment, study, & fellowship. For more information please contact NEXUSYouth@theblvd.org

How do I make a commitment to Christ or unite with The BLVD?
Pastor Turner extends the Invitation to Christian Discipleship each week following the sermon. But you don’t have to wait until then, you may express your desire to unite with The BLVD and commit to Christ by emailing Connect@theblvd.org anytime! You can come by Christian experience, watch care, or candidate for baptism.
What about my kids?
When your child is ready to make a commitment to Christ they will have an opportunity to express that desire as part of our NEXUS Ministry Sunday programs. Information about the child’s next step will be shared with the parents and coordinated by the leaders of our NEXUS ministry.
What are my Next Steps?
Our New Disciples classes are held on the third and fourth Saturdays of each month. You’ll be expected to attend the next available session. You’ll be paired with a member of our Bridge Team who will help you keep track of upcoming dates and walk you through the process of becoming a New Disciple! Then you’ll be placed in a Life Group that’ll help you find your place at The BLVD.
What are the worship services like?
Each Sunday at The BLVD, we host two vibrant in-person worship experiences (our 9am Southwind Service & our 11am Midtown Service). Our Worship Services are a friendly vibe and the air around you are always be filled with diverse musical selections that are Spirit-led and delivered with excellence. Each Sunday you’ll experience a dynamic message, that is theologically sound offered by our pastor Rev. Dr. J. Lawrence Turner. We also welcome you to tune in for our Online Worship Experiences, via Facebook, YouTube or here on The BLVD Online!
What do I wear?
If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you no matter when you visit or which campus you attend. Culturally, The BLVD is a place where you’ll be right at home, whatever you wear.
But if you’re dying to know, our members at the Midtown campus tend to dress more formally, while our members at the Southwind campus adhere to business casual attire, and of course if you’re a member of our Online campus the standard attire ranges from Sunday Best to Bedtime Formal. Just come as you are and worship with us!
