This year it is our goal to help each disciple at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church take their next step forward in faith and following Jesus. To begin 2026, we invite each disciple in our congregation to commit to the 90-Day FORWARD Challenge. Over the course of the first 90 days of 2026 we challenge each disciple to GATHER > GROW > GO.

For corporate worship each Sunday, the first 13 weeks of the year.
By reading the Bible Monday through Friday according to the daily Bible reading plans (using Saturday and Sunday to catch up, if needed) and reflecting upon God’s Word for your life through daily ROOTED journal entries. There will also be verse memory challenges each week. Collectively, we will encourage one another toward discipleship through weekly life group meetings. By sharing your faith and serving the community. We hope that you will make an extra effort to invite someone who is unsaved or outside of fellowship with the church in the 90 days of 2026 or to be your guest on Resurrection Sunday 2026, April 5th. We also hope that you will serve in a ministry here at The BLVD. To check out our Ministry Directory CLICK HERE
We will kick off Lent and begin to FAST FORWARD by collectively engaging in a season of fasting and prayer, aiming to draw closer to God, hear His voice, and discern God’s will for our lives.
All of Matthew (Weeks 1-5) - The King and His Kingdom
All of Mark (Weeks 6-9) - The Suffering Servant
Luke 1-21 (Weeks 9-13) - The Savior of All People
This means that by the end of 90 days, we will have encountered Jesus' life, death, and resurrection three times, from three different gospel perspectives. We, also, would have memorized 39 key verses and completed 65 daily ROOTED journal entries focused on immediate obedience and discipleship multiplication.
The King Has Come (Matthew 1-5) - Birth narrative, Sermon on the Mount
Kingdom Values (Matthew 6-10) - Prayer, worry, sending the twelve
Kingdom Responses (Matthew 11-15) - Parables, miracles, controversies
Kingdom Costs (Matthew 16-20) - Peter's confession, transfiguration, servant leadership
